Frequently asked
How is this different from the generic JHA template?
The generic JHA template ($395) is the universal format with 15 sample JHAs covering common tasks. The Construction Pack ($495) is 15 trade-specific JHAs — substantially more detailed, with trade-specific OSHA citations, control measures, and equipment lists. The Construction Pack is built specifically for construction work; the generic template is broader but less deep.
Is this the same as the JHAs in the SSSP-Construction tier?
Yes — these 15 JHAs are also included in our Construction SSSP tier ($395). If you need both an SSSP and the JHAs, the Construction SSSP tier is the better value. If you need only the JHAs (e.g., you have your own SSSP framework), this pack is the right product.
Can I use these JHAs for federal contractor work?
Federal work under EM 385-1-1 requires AHAs (Activity Hazard Analyses), which have additional federal-specific requirements: Three Phases of Control structure, contracting officer review, SSHO involvement. Our separate AHA Federal Pack covers the federal-specific format. These JHAs are the OSHA-compliant version for non-federal construction work.
